With great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, who passed peacefully, surrounded by family. She was born in West Vancouver to Phyllis and John Geggie, sadly her father was taken just 4 years later. Survived by her sister, Roberta; children, Michael, Robert (deceased), Cindy and Graeme; husbands, James and David; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
After attending school, she worked for immigration for 10 years. She then started her family in Crescent Beach, moving to New Westminster, before settling on her farm in Keremeos. She was an incredibly kind, hard working, devoted Mother, always putting others first. After her son Robert was crippled in a car accident, she cared for him for the rest of his life.
For many years she hosted large family gatherings at her farm, preparing large wonderful meals. She was a caring, self sacrificing, kind Mother and friend. She will be missed deeply by those fortunate enough to know her. As she was always an animal lover, donations can be made in her name to the SPCA, in lieu of flowers.
