May 2, 1940 – August 7, 2022
On Sunday, August 7, 2022, after a valiant fight of 18 years, Herbert (Herb) Glen Albert Pinske of Cawston, BC, succumbed to Parkinson’s Disease at Moog & Friends Hospice House in Penticton at the age of 82 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Alex; mother, Margaret; brother, Leonard Pinske; loving wife, Lesley (Jensen) Pinske and eldest son, Glen Pinske.
Herb will be fondly remembered by his loving family, including sons, Wayne (Angie) and Allan (Kristina) as well as his wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Herb spent his whole working life self-employed, working as a bodyman/painter, mechanic and salesman.
He loved to explore British Columbia but ghost towns and abandoned mine camps were by far Dad’s favourite places. Over the years, he was involved with various antique and hot rod car clubs.
Herb enjoyed snowmobiling, motorbiking, ATV’ing and camping. He was an avid collector of antiques and collectibles and loved to travel to swap meets and car shows.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday August 27, 2022 the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
