On Tuesday, September 29, 2020 Harold George Franklin passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years.
George was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Mary-Ann, Linda; brothers, Roy and Larry. George is remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife Ritva Franklin; children, Christina Franklin of Creston, British Columbia, Christopher Franklin (Kasey Halfstein) of Cawston, British Columbia; four precious grandchildren Riley, Chase, Mason and Liam.
Harold moved out West from Ontario in 1963. In 1968, Harold met his wife at Oil Can Harry's Bar in Vancouver, British Columbia. He also spent time travelling and living in Europe for a few years.
Those who knew Harold know he was a talented hard worker who enjoyed sculpturing, music, and classic movies. Harold enjoyed the outdoors, especially riding his bike along the river and working in his fruit and vegetable gardens. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A private family gathering will take place in honour of Harold.
