Martha Glennys Ritchie passed away peacefully of natural causes at home in Cawston on Tuesday March 27th, 2018 at the age of 92. Born in Kelowna, B.C. on September 3rd, 1925.
Glennys will be forever missed by her loving family: children, Wayne (Elaine), Lorraine (Kim); grandchildren, Delrea, Shane, Felina, Jason, Richelle; great grandchildren, Ryan, Zack, Shayla, Chad, Victoria, James, Alexis, Tori, Corey and constant furry companion Missy.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2000, great grandson Jacob in 2007 and her 5 siblings.
Bill and Glennys started out their life together in Naramata, B.C. farming 2 orchards and then relocated to Cawston in 1959. Together they ran a successful orchard business until 2000.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 7th, 2018 at the Cawston Cemetery at 12:30 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at the Cawston Hall at 1:30 pm.
