October 31, 1944 - May 16, 2022
In loving memory ~
Brian (Terence) Trower passed away peacefully on May 16, 2022, with his wife at his side. Brian was born October 31, 1944, in London, Ontario and after a visit in the early 70s, he fell in love with Penticton, packed up and relocated. Thirty-six years ago, Brian met the love of his life Susan, and they did everything together, including travelling the world. Brian loved the beach, travelling and adventures (including a few years of ostrich farming), cooking amazing meals for family and friends if he wasn't eating out, long walks with his furry sidekick, loud music, and a sing along. Brian will be missed by so many and remembered for his quick wit, generosity, and passion for life.
Brian is survived by his daughter Brandee (Brian), son Munroe and granddaughter Haylee (Shawn), sisters Lynne (Ray), Lauri (Paul), and brother Tim (Deb), his aunt Marg, nieces, nephews, cousins, a gang of Hoffmans and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Penticton Salvation Army Food Bank (https://pentictonsa.ca/give), his favorite charity.
To celebrate a life well lived, you are invited to join family and friends at the Copper Mug on June 19th from 4:00 to 6:00 where food bank donations will also be accepted. Brian was passionate about COVID vaccinations and the science surrounding the vaccine. The family respectfully requests that only those who are vaccinated attend Brian's Celebration of Life (Note: The Mug is open to all regardless of vaccination status)
