October 11, 1923 - March 22, 2021
Adrian's story began Oct 11, 1923 in Nottingham, Sask. and ended peacefully Mar 22, 2021 in Penticton BC.
During his 97 years he was many things. An avid hunter, fisherman, Navy and Army Veteran, millwright and wildlife lover. He was also know as a son, a brother, a dad, a Grampa, a Great Grampa and Great Great Grampa.
Adrian spent his last 30 years on his farm in Keremeos, BC , where with the help of his daughter Germaine, in the last 15 years, he was able to continue to be surrounded by his farm animals and the outdoors that he loved so much. Adrian's personality and love of a good time made his farm a gathering place for friends and family to visit, stay a night or camp awhile. Many great times and memories were created.
Adrian told the best stories, had a great sense of humour and loved being a part of the party. Anyone that knew him would say that he lived his life the way he wanted, with laughter, family, friends and his farm animals.
Adrian was predeceased by his parents Archibald and Alberta, his sisters Edna, Laura and Lila. He is survived by his children Steven, David, Germaine, Brian (Karen) and Cheryl (Larry). Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A celebration of Adrian's life will be announced at a later date in the summer. To be a weekend gathering of family and friends, to laugh, tell stories, to celebrate him and the way he lived his life, having a good time!
