UPDATE: 1 arrested after break-in at Kelowna's Ellis Street Market

Police has been at the scene since at least 6 a.m.

UPDATE 8:35 a.m.

One person has been arrested without issue following in a break-and-enter and Ellis Street Market on Wednesday morning, Kelowna RCMP have confirmed. 

The initial report was called in around 5:40 a.m. Multiple officers responded to the scene to surround the building while the suspect was still inside. 

After the building was surrounded, the suspect came out of the building and was arrested.

A police presence is at Ellis Street Market on Wednesday morning (Sept. 4).

One of the windows in the sliding door has been broken. It's unknown at this time what is happening and when the incident started but officers have been at the scene since at least 6 a.m.
