Public skates at McLaren Arena will require proof of vaccination.

The City of Penticton announced on Friday that all patrons aged 12 and older will be required to provide proof of full vaccination for any public skate programs at the arena.

The requirement follows after an update to the Provincial Health Order on gatherings and events.

This update applies to all scheduled public skate programs including open public skates, parent and tot sessions, Stick ’N Puck and noon hour hockey.

Patrons are also reminded that masks are required to be worn in the building and they may only be removed when on the ice surface.

The public skate schedule is available online on www.penticton.ca/mclarenarena.
