At the other end of town, in Trout Creek, a truck was seen flipped over in the bushes across from where the historic sod-roofed cabin is. The truck left the highway, flipping onto its roof and taking out several large bushes. At the crash scene, a wooden cross could be seen from a past fatal collision there.

The truck has been cleared and crews are cleaning up the remaining debris. Traffic near the Thornber Street and Arkell Road intersection with Highway 97 is currently down to one lane in either direction.

It is not currently known if there were any injuries due to either incident.
