Trial ordered in Princeton home invasion

Jonathan Haller faces numerous charges including aggravated assault

A Princeton man will stand trial to face charges related to a home invasion that occurred here in May 2018.

Jonathan Haller is accused of crimes including aggravated assault. He was bound over for trial following a two-day preliminary hearing last week held in both Princeton and Penticton.

Haller, 23, will be tried in Supreme Court, by a judge alone.

Because of a publication ban the evidence presented at last week’s hearing cannot be reported.

In addition to assault Haller is charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, robbery, break and enter and commit and indictable offense, possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm without licence or registration, storage of a firearm contrary to regulation and possession of a firearm contrary to order.
