Do you want to try your hand at squash or racquetball? The Keremeos Recreation Centre has the only squash and racquetball courts in the Similkameen valley. Every Monday from March 14 until April 25 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. squash and racquetball tokens will be on sale at the rec centre at a significant discount for play on that night – only $1.50 each.
Tokens will be limited to four per person per night – which should give plenty of time to get a great work-out. On March 14 and 21 a Squash BC certified coach will be on hand to help with the rules of the game and some basic strokes for those who haven’t played the game before. Racquets and balls will be available so come on down – you have nothing to lose but a few inches round the waist!
