An RV was destroyed by fire near Oliver Tuesday night around 8 p.m.

Rob Graham, spokesperson for the Oliver Volunteer Fire Department said by the time crews arrived on scene the RV was “fully involved.”

“It was on a property but I’m not sure if it was being actively used. It’s not clear whether it was being used or just dumped on the location,” he said.

The RV was located on private property just north of Oliver off Highway 97.

Graham said 14 firefighters attended, and two pumper trucks were used. Crews were on scene for about 45 minutes.

“It was pretty straight forward to knock down.”
