Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen services affected by long weekend

Offices will be closed; some facilities will have reduced hours

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen offices and some facilities will be closed for the Victoria Day long weekend.

The regional district’s main office, 101 Martin St., Penticton and the Okanagan Falls Community Services office, 1109 Willow St., Okanagan Falls will both be closed on Monday, May 20.

The Campbell Mountain Landfill will be open May 18, 19 and 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

The Okanagan Falls landfill will be open May 18 from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and the Oliver Landfill will be opened from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Both will be closed on May 19 and 20.

The Keremeos Transfer Station will be closed May 18, 19 and 20.

Recreation centres will also be affected by the long weekend.

The Similkameen Recreation Centre office will be closed May 18 to 20, but the recreation centre will remain open and the gym will be open for pass holders.

The Okanagan Falls Recreation Centre will be closed May 18 to 20.

All regional district offices and facilities will return to regular hours on May 21.
