Fortis workshop

Electoral Area “B” Director George Bush will attend a  FortisBC policy workshop that is studying how to bring natural gas to B.C. communities currently without the energy resource.

The February 18 workshop takes place in Vancouver.

The  one-day workshop will look at the lack of natural gas infrastructure and the reliance on higher-cost electricity in many smaller remote communities, including those in the Similkameen Valley.

Area “G” Director Angelique Wood, long a proponent for improved access to natural gas, was selected as a workshop alternate.
