Police seek public assistance in Cawston crime

On January 9 a residence along the 2200 block of Hwy 3 in Cawston was broken into.

On January 9 a residence along the 2200 block of Hwy 3 in Cawston was broken into.

Taken was a safe containing an undisclosed amount of money, cheques and a credit card.

Approximately 24 hours later  a person wearing a disguise enters the Keremeos Valley First Credit Union in the early morning and unsuccessfully attempted to withdraw cash from the credit card that was taken from the residence.

Police are asking for the publics assistance for any information in regards to the break and enter or the identity of the person in the disguise.
