This year the PNE is celebrating its 101st anniversary, running August 20 - September 5.
The following is a few of the great new things going on this year so people have time to make travel plans.
For the first time ever, the PNE has made admission free for kids 13 and under when accompanied by an adult. We’ve also added to the kid friendly programming with a family theatre.
As well, the first new ride in four years just opened called ATMOSFEAR - it’s the tallest ride on site and gives people one of the greatest views of the city (if you are brave enough to open your eyes!)
And everyone’s favourite hot dog at the fair just got longer by a foot. The two foot long hot dog is debuting this year at the fair.
Kenny Rogers, Donny Osmond and tween sensation Miranda Cosgrove are all a part of the free entertainment lineup.
