Christmas in the air in Keremeos as preparations get underway for festive season

Plans for the annual Similkameen Country Keremeos Christmas Light up are well underway as the festive season approaches.

Victory Hall is already booked solid for the craft fair, which begins at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 2 and runs until Saturday at 3 p.m.

This year’s theme will be a “Cowboy Christmas,” with free hot dogs, hot chocolate and popcorn. There will also be a 50/50  draw and a visit from Santa Claus.

The committee is still looking for parade entrants. The Similkameen Snowmobile Club is extending a challenge to top them as best entry from last year’s competition. This year’s parade gets underway around 5:30 p.m. Similkameen Country is also looking for certified flaggers to help with the parade.
