On February 29, Similkameen Elementary Secondary School will be proudly participating in “Pink Shirt Day.” This is a day set aside to promote awareness of the problem of bullying and to share in a commitment to eliminate the problem.
Bullying can take many forms - physical, verbal, written, or on-line.
Victims of bullying, witnesses of bullying, and even bullies themselves all experience the very real and long term negative impacts it causes.
So, please wear your pink Tshirts and show your support for a bully free school.
