In Penticton, Columbia Elementary had potential COVID-19 exposures on Sept. 20 and 21.

In Oliver, Southern Okanagan Secondary School reports there were potential exposures on Sept. 20, 21 and 23.

As reported last week, Oliver Elementary had multiple days of potential COVID exposures between Sept. 14, 15, 16, 17 and 20.

Down in Keremeos, Similkameen Elementary Secondary School is reporting someone in their community tested positive for the virus and attended the school on Sept. 24.

In Kelowna, 14 schools are reporting exposures.

Dr. Bonnie Henry reversed course two weeks ago about not notifying parents about COVID-19 exposures at schools after the provincial health officer previously said reporting of single cases caused too much anxiety.

Concerns from teachers and parents made the reversal to go back to publicizing public school exposures.
