The Certified Organic Associations of BC (COABC) hosts their annual conference at the Prestige Hotel in Vernon, February 22 - 24 . To celebrate th 20th Anniversary of COABC, this year’s theme is “Organics: Past, Present, and Future”. The conference features informative workshops on a variety of topics including: permaculture practices, biodynamics, organic farming education, succession planning, post-harvest handling, marketing, software products for small-scale farms and many more.
“We have a wonderful line-up of speakers from all aspects of the organic farming community” said Mary Forstbauer, President of COABC. “The conference themes will appeal to people from all walks of life: urban farmers and gardeners, conventional growers and producers, and permaculture or biodynamic farmers.”
The conference is open to the public and includes a variety of registration options for one session to the entire weekend.
