The Okanagan Film Commission has elected a new slate of Officers to take the Society forward. John Trainor, an Armstrong Councillor and Board Member since 2009 will serve as Chairman, replacing Bill Baird who stepped down after three years at the helm. Gerri Logan will serve as Vice-Chair after serving many years as Secretary Treasurer. Ashley Ramsay, a long time Television Animation Producer from Vancouver BC, joins the Okanagan Film Commission as Film and New Media Officer.
Since 1990, the Okanagan Film Commission has acted on behalf of local and international producers to enable and promote traditional motion picture production in the Okanagan-Similkameen Kootenay Boundary districts.
