Greyhound Bus Lines has found a new home for its depot in Keremeos.
Napa Auto Parts has agreed to take on the service. The depot will transfer to Napa’s store at 608 Seventh Avenue on Monday, August 20.
The move is a short one - just next door to the existing depot.
Freight will be held at the store and the bus stop will remain at its present location at the corner of Sixth Street and Seventh Avenue.
Bus service hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, said Napa owner Aaron Beauchamp. He is hopeful that the addition of the service will allow him to make a full time position out of what is presently a part time position in the store.
