Sunday’s heavy rain may have contributed to a mudslide on Green Mountain Road between Olalla and Apex.

Bart Fonteyne posted pictures on Sunday afternoon showing mud and rocks spilling over Green Mountain Road. There have been no reports from DriveBC or Aim Roads on this but the News will update the story once there is more information.

One driver says the road is still open.

A thunderstorm and heavy rain also brought new high streamflow advisories for the Okanagan including the Similkameen River.

Rain is also expected for most of Monday and Environment Canada has issued another severe thunderstorm watch for South Okanagan.
