UPDATE: April 14
There is no estimate on when Highway 3A may be reopened between Keremeos and Penticton.
DriveBC issued an update just after 12 p.m. Saturday stating, “Closed in both directions 18.5 km east of Keremeos because ofMud Slide. No estimated time of opening.”
Another update is not expected until Sunday, April 15 at 12 p.m.

UPDATE: 4:36 p.m.
Only local traffic is allowed on Green Mountain Road as the road condition is deteriorating.
The detour being suggested by Drive BC is Highway 97 to Osoyoos to Highway 3.
Update 12:17 p.m.
Drive B.C. is reporting that they expect the road to remain closed at Yellow Lake at least until Saturday.
A geotechnical assessment is in progress.
The next update is expected to come on Saturday at noon.

Drive B.C. is reporting that Highway 3A is closed at Yellow Lake due to debris on the road.
The road is closed in both directions 10 kilometres east of Keremeos because of a mudslide.
An assessment is taking place and there is no estimated time of opening. Drive B.C. will be posting their next update at noon.
Drivers are asked to detour using Highway 3 to Highway 97 and Valedon junction can use Highway 97 to Highway 3.
