Mounties look for suspect in early morning robbery of the Oliver 7-11

Smokes, an energy drink and some cash were taken

The Oliver RCMP are looking to the public to provide assistance in identifying a man suspected of robbing the Oliver 7-11 on Monday, Oct. 25.

Police received a 911 call at 5:13 a.m. reporting the robbery.

According to Sgt. Don Wrigglesworth, the male suspect stated that he had a gun, but no gun was observed.

The man took a pack of cigarettes, an energy drink and a small amount of money.

There were no injuries to staff and the suspect departed on foot.

Police Dog Services attended but were unable to track him.

The suspect is approximately 5’9” wearing a grey toque, grey two-tone Fox jacket, blue pants and black shoes.
