Kelowna RCMP are looking for Lulu, a one-year-old dog that was stolen on Saturday, Aug. 31 around 9:15 p.m.

Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in finding a stolen one-year-old puppy named Lulu.

On Saturday, Aug. 31 around 9:15 p.m., Lulu's owner was walking her when a grey vehicle stopped beside them. The driver got out of the vehicle, started a conversation with Lulu's owner, unhooked the leash, picked up Lulu, rushed back into this car and fled the scene.

The owner has had Lulu got only a month, after they purchased the dog from the previous owner who moved out of Kelowna a month ago.

Lulu is white in colour and is a Chihuahua, Maltese, Pug, and Dijon mix.

“We are hoping to reunite Lulu with her rightful owner, if you have any information on her whereabouts please contact the Kelowna RCMP detachment at 250-762-3300 and reference the file number 2024-50979,” said Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Sgt. Laura Pollock.
