Last week an RCMP officer attended a home on Boundary Road to investigate a suspect in a break and enter and found a dog bowl filled with marijuana.
Cpl. Brian Evans said the discovery surprised the officer on the scene.
“It’s fairly odd. That’s not something you normally come across. It’s not the typical place to store marijuana,” Evans said with a laugh.
The officer found about 130 grams of dried marijuana in the dog bowl. The marijuana was seized and the investigation continues.
The male resident of the home was charged with break and enter in an unrelated matter.
