The Keremeos Irrigation District held its annual general meeting on April 30, with two trustee positions up for election.
Approximately 50 people were in attendance for the meeting held at Victory Hall.
The district reported its new reservoir is nearing completion, providing residents with an update on the project. Tax rates rose a modest two per cent over last year’s total tax and tolls, working out to an average of eight dollars per household.
Three candidates vied for election to the board on Wednesday. Eileen Oliver-Bauer, Aaron Beauchamp and Roger Mayer stood for election, with Mayer and Beauchamp winning three year terms.
