High water volumes in Keremeos Creek over the past few days are causing flood concerns in Olalla as water backs up just north of the community.
The creek has an annual tradition of backing up in this area, saturating the open fields just north of the village. However, this year's freshet is starting to lap at the doors of several houses in Olalla's northeast corner.
