A staff recommendation to the regional district board to award the Kaleden Community Hall upgrade project to Solara Homes for a total amount of $93,000 was passed by the board at the Thursday, July 21 regular board meeting.
The upgrade will include such things as:
- wall and roof insulation
- new fire exit doors
-fireguard drywall
- acoustic panels
- painting of walls and ceiling
- improvements to fan housings
