Get out the cowboy hats, boots, and if you have them horses because this year’s Light Up parade theme is Cowboy Christmas.
Directors of Similkameen Country Keremeos and Area Chamber of Commerce made the decision last week to go a little bit country for this year’s festivities.
“We thought it was a perfect fit for the area for our Christmas parade. We want to see lots of cowboy hats, boots, and those cowboys up in saddles and don’t forget the lights,” Colleen Christensen, general manager of Similkameen Country said.
Planning is well underway for this year’s Light Up weekend festivities. Applications are out for those interested in supplying the concession and registrations are being taken for the craft fair.
Parade entry forms will soon be ready.
