Highway 3 reopened to two lanes of traffic just after 5 p.m. this evening, January 30, after being closed since noon Monday after a rock slide covered the roadway with debris.
Residents of the Lower Similkameen, some of whom faced onerous detours in order to commute up and down the valley, will be relieved to be able to return to their normal transportation routes.
