Members of the Keremeos Volunteer Fire Department return from a motor vehicle accident near Hedley on July 10. The driver was transported to the Keremeos Treatment Centre with undisclosed injuries.

The Hedley and Keremeos Volunteer Fire Departments, RCMP and BC Ambulance personnel were called to a single vehicle rollover on Nickle Plate Road mid morning on Wednesday, July 10.

The vehicle left the road near the bluffs, rolling for some distance before coming to a rest near the bottom of the mountain. “The motor was lying on the lower road, while the transmission was located on a switchback further up the road,” said Keremeos Chief Jordy Bosscha. “The rest of the vehicle was rolled up into a little ball below  the bluff.”

The driver was transported to the Keremeos Diagnostic and Treatment Centre with unknown injuries.
