Fun filled Family Day coming up in Keremeos

The museum and the recreation centre are offering free use of facilities on Family Day

There’s lots to do in Keremeos on Family Day this year.

Soak up some history at the Keremeos Museum on Feb. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Museum volunteers will be on hand throughout the day offering up tours. There will also be games, family history searches, colouring contests and prizes. Free hot dogs, veggie dogs, drinks and snacks will also be offered.

Admission is free and all residents of the area and visitors are welcome!

It’s a great way to introduce children to a sense of local history and tour the new museum located at 414-9th Avenue, Keremeos.

The Similkameen Recreation Centre is holding a free day of rock climbing, skating and bowling from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Admission is free and open to everyone. Skating depends on weather and ice conditions.
