For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jeremy Evans and I was a councillor for the Village of Keremeos from 1993-2008. After a three year break I am ready to return to office.
I moved to Keremeos at age twelve with my parents. I grew up here and proudly raised my family here. I have worked here all my life. I am currently the Receiver at the packing house on Tenth Avenue. I love this valley and nothing could draw me away from here.
As a retired twenty-one year veteran of the Keremeos Volunteer Fire Department I know the value of volunteer groups to the community, and in my previous terms as councillor I strongly supported these groups. I also started or supported many initiatives aimed at improving access for various user groups.
I am a taxpayer and I believe all taxpayers deserve value for their money.
If you want your voice to be heard, vote on November 19 for an experienced “Call a spade a spade” councillor.
