Fledgling Similkameen art group meet at the Gibson House

Art sessions beginning again in Keremeos for SImilkameen art enthusiasts

The Gibson House is busy again with the Life Drawing Group.  This is a group of local (including Osoyoos and Penticton) artists who get together and hire a model to sketch.  This is a very open interactive group that share and critique their work and learn so much from each other.  Of course, if an artist does not wish to be critiqued that is fine too.  Every second Sunday is their day at Gibson House, starting on January 8.

The other Sunday is reserved for drop-in, any person wanting to come and draw a still life, or paint from a picture, or work on any project they are working on.  We have had Encaustic painters, acrylic, and water colour painters work on their own projects during these drop-in days.

The coffee pot is always on and there is tea and juice available as well.  If you are interested in any kind of art form join us and see what we are doing and show what you do.  All creative people are welcome.

If you are interested in joining us call Judy at 499-2883 for further info.
