Community Futures Okanagan Similkameen (CFOS) is partnering with Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to put on the first annual Y.E.A.H. event (Young Entrepreneurs Aiming High).

This is a full day workshop for anyone aged 39 and under who has a business idea or is already in business and wants to take their business to the next level. The event is being held at Cowork Penticton on April 19 from 9 a.m – 3:30 p.m. Cost is only $20 which includes lunch.

We have a fantastic line up of successful entrepreneurs and local small business experts to support the attendees in fine tuning their business ideas. Here is a snapshot of the day:

- Inspiration from Successful Young Entrepreneurs

- Perfect your Sales Pitch Workshop

- One on one Power Mentoring with experts in Social Media, Marketing, Financial, Web Making, Legal and Insurance, Human Resources, Graphic Design, Customer Service and much more!

Event Coordinator, Denise Blashko says that “Young Entrepreneurs are increasingly becoming more important to our rural communities as we have a large population of small business owners getting ready to sell or retire from their business. This event is going to be a high energy day with our attendees leaving armed with an action plan and lots of tips, resources and new connections to help them succeed.”
