Residents in the area can expect to see smoke within the perimeter over the coming weeks.

Winds are expected to pick up Wednesday afternoon, which may lead to some spread of flames in slash and grass fuel areas.

The blaze remains at 1,025 hectares, with 149 personnel and three pieces of equipment are on site.
