If you see a bunch of emergency vehicles at the Penticton Airport, don’t worry, it’s only a drill.

Members of the Penticton Fire Department, RCMP, BC Ambulance and the city’s Emergency Operations Centre will be participating in a training exercise.

The exercise is simulating a crashed and burning airplane at the north end of the airport.

There is no risk to the public, and observation of the training exercise is restricted.

The exercise is expected to last for around two hours.
