Electronic town hall meeting planned for Kaleden sewer expansion

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen will host an electronic town hall to provide information about the Kaleden sewer expansion project referendum in Electoral Area I.

The event will be held Tuesday, April 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The electronic townhall can also be viewed on the regional district’s YouTube channel.

The proposed sanitary sewer extension from Okanagan Falls to Kaleden would replace Kaleden’s aging septic fields within the service area, with a more environmentally friendly community sewer system. A referendum will be Saturday, June 5 for the initial service area.
