It’s time to Monster Mash at the Cawston Hall.

Those Wild Organic Humans and their friends are putting on another instalment of Masquerade Madness Saturday night at the Cawston Hall.

“Two years ago it was a such a smashing success we are ready to do it again,” Margaret Macdonald, lead singer for the Wild Organic Humans said. “People in Cawston and Keremeos and the area they are so incredibly creative and they come up with the most amazing costumes. I can’t wait to see everyone.”

There will be several costume prizes handed out throughout the night. Prizes are coming from local businesses including Wrong Turn Tavern, Keremeos Review, Parsons Fruit Stand, Similkameen Apiaries, Elam’s Organics and Forbidden Fruit.

The night will be filled with the sweet sounds of the Wild Organic Humans. The band plays a mix of toe tapping classics that are fun to dance to along with originals that also get people up out of their chairs onto the dance floor.

“You know we’re a dance band. We have the horns. We’ve go some new songs since we played at the Cawston Hall in the spring. Oh ya,” Macdonald said.

Jodel Music Woman is also set to hit the stage for a few songs and also DJ the end of the evening.

Su Wolf, a relatively new resident of the area from England will also be performing. Wolf performed in the variety show hosted by Cawston Players last spring.

“She does a lot of theatre and musicals. She has a fantastic voice,” Macdonald said. “It’s going to be a jam-packed fun night of music.”

This year Forbidden Fruit’s Dead End series of organic wine will be for sale along with beer and cider.

Tickets are $13 at the door or can be bought ahead of time at Emmy’s Bake Shop or the Cawston store.

A profesional photographer will also be on-hand throughout the night to take photos for a fee.

“We’re really excited it’s just going to be spooktacular.”
