Police often deal with the after affects of drug use.
On October 2 the Princeton RCMP received numerous calls about a man causing a disturbance at a local gas station and then at a coffee shop. “He wasn’t threatening anybody but he was agitated and yelling at customers,” said Constable Grant Bernier.
The man was found to be under the influence of a narcotic and was lodged in the detachment’s cells until the influence “had expired.”
The incident occurred at 8:30 a.m.
On September 28 a local woman called RCMP “saying she was going to die,” said Bernier.
While the woman disconnected the call, police attended at the address attached to her phone number.
“The caller was found to be fine. She advised that she ingested too much of a narcotic but had counteracted that and didn’t need any help,” he said.
