Advanced voting open today for Penticton and RDOS residents

Learn when and where you can vote in advance of the Oct. 20 municipal elections

Polls are open for advanced voting today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Penticton residents can cast their votes ahead of the Oct. 20 municipal election at City Hall, located at 171 Main Street. Voters may register at the time of voting and need to provide two pieces of identification that prove both residency and identity.

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) is also offering advanced voting today at the following locations: Oliver Community Centre, 6359 Park Drive; Area D Community Services Office, 1-5350 9th Avenue, Okanagan Falls; RDOS Office, 101 Martin Street, Penticton; Victory Hall, 427 7th Avenue, Keremeos. Penticton residents will also be able to vote in advance on Oct. 13 at the KVR Middle School, located at 300 Jermyn Avenue, and on Oct. 18 at the Penticton Seniors’ Drop-In Centre, located at 2965 South Main Street.

For Penticton residents that are unable to attend the advanced voting dates and the date of the general election, mail voting ballots can be requested at City Hall. Mail ballots must be received by the Chief Election Officer, Laurie Darcus, before the close of voting on Oct. 20. Click here for more information about advanced voting in Penticton.
