After 12 years of a very successful Special Olympics BC program in Keremeos we unfortunately are going to have to shut down the program as we have not been able to obtain volunteers to keep it running.
What we need is a number of volunteers to help a few key people to continue with this program.
Our athletes have successfully obtained medals at the Regionals and at the the Provincial and National levels. Our mission statement is as follows Special Olympics BC is dedicated to enriching lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport. Our values are Inclusion, Diversity, Empowerment, Respect and Excellence.
We are looking for volunteers in the community that will come forward and provide their support at the committee level.
