Penticton RCMP are looking to reconnect a large sum of cash with its owner.

According to a press release, on Jan. 15, a good Samaritan found the cash on Martin Street and turned it over to the police.

The release describes the amount as “large” and “significant,” but does not state or estimate how much was found. To claim the cash, you must be able to give the value of the money.

“If you recently lost some money, please contact the Penticton RCMP to claim it,” said Const. Brett Urano BC RCMP media relations officer.

Contact the Penticton RCMP if you are the owner by calling 250-492-4300 and quoting file number 2024-652.
