The annual fundraiser filled the Cleland Community Theatre on Sunday.

The Penticton Gizeh Shriners put on a great show for the kids (of all ages) once again.

Magicians Murray Hatfield and Teresa returned to host the program again this year, showcasing their illusions and magic tricks for the packed audience in the Cleland Theatre.

They were backed up by two special guests this year. Geoff Akins-Hannah of Bubble Wonders earned plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘ahs’ from the audience for his mastery of the square bubble, placing his audience volunteer inside a giant bubble, and even blowing bubbles from his glasses.

Juggler Aaron Gregg didn’t bring his chainsaws to this performance, but he did have some knives and a unicycle to keep it exciting for the kids.

The Variety Show is an annual event put on by the Shriners as one of their main fundraisers during the year.

The money raised by the show goes to help families with transportation costs in order to provide children with the medical care they need.
