The Okanagan Art Gallery in Osoyoos is celebrating its second annual Small Wonders art show on Dec. 6 as part of their First Friday series.

From 5 until 7 p.m., the gallery, located at No.5 8302 Main St., is hosting a reception featuring the local artists participating in the Small Wonders exhibition.

The show features the full roster of artists represented by the gallery. Mediums from oil and acrylic paints, lithographs, photographs and fibre-based art will all be on display.

Many of the pieces will also be available for sale at the reception, which is part of the gallery’s Alive After Five approach. Diane Carter, the gallery’s advertising director, the slogan is meant to reflect that it is one of the few businesses open after 5 p.m. in Osoyoos.

The night features local wine from Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery, as well as some local apples to enjoy.
