The Village of Keremeos is offering financial assistance to businesses in need of a facelift.

The Business Facade Improvement program offers grants of up to $2,000 to reimburse 50 per cent of a project’s cost, if the project involves improving the face or accessibility for the building.

Eligable improvements include new exterior lighting, exterior architectural features and decorative detailing, new siding, painting, as well as windows and entryways, if they are part of larger enhancements. Accessibility improvements include doorway transition ramps, automatic door openers and lever door handles.
