Grist Mill Plays Host to “Triple 0 Winers” Good Sam Club Campout

  • Oct. 12, 2014 7:00 p.m.

Members of the Good Sam Triple OOO Winers RV club spent a few days camping at the Grist Mill last week.

The “Triple 0 Winers” Good Sam Club enjoyed the last campout of the year October 7 to 10 at the Grist Mill.  Thirteen units were in attendance representing participants from the South Okanagan, including Penticton, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos and Cawston.

Everyone enjoyed the beautiful setting at the Grist Mill.  The weather did its bit too, providing blue sunny skies and cool crisp nights.  The campout was made perfect by the hospitality of the staff at the Grist Mill!  Visits to Fairview Cider, Tree to Me and the Gristmill Gardens and Tea room gave all an insight about the community and the many interesting things it has to offer.

A Grist Mill campout is a must do, not only for the many Good Sam Clubs in the Okanagan but camping families and other service clubs.  The home baking at the Tea Room was fresh and delicious including the garden vegetable soup!
