Bevin Finlay of Wingham, Ontario, made a brief stop at Canadian Chopper in Keremeos on Monday on his way back to Ontario following a cross country road trip that included a visit to the Merritt rally. Finlay painted this 1996 Harley Road King himself, which he has owned since new.
A number of motorcycle events took place throughout the southern portion of the province last weekend including the Sturgess North Rally in Salmon Arm and other venues in Kelowna, Ashcroft and Merritt. A dice run that took riders through Keremeos was scheduled on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday last week. The event was poorly attended, however, due most likely to the fact that there was so much going on elsewhere.
